2018年台風第21号、2019年台風第15号・第19号・第20号、熊本地震や北海道胆振東部地震では、医療体制の継続の重要性が浮き彫りになった。災害時に医療現場で最前線にたつ、最も多い職種は看護職である為、その看護職をマネジメントする看護管理者が事業継続計画（BCP）について掌握することは重要なことである。本研究は5年計画で、地震や台風等の災害を経験した病院の看護管理者がBCPとして、優先的に取り組む必要がある事項が何であるかを明らかにする。主に全国の非災害拠点病院の看護管理者に優先的に取り組む必要がある事項を情報提供し、情報提供による効果つまりBCPの取り組み状況を検証することである。

2022年度おこなった研究結果をもとに2024年度介入研究をおこなう計画だったが実施できなかった。そのため、研究期間を1年延長した。

Reason
2023年度に検討した介入内容について、実施の準備を整える計画だった、研究代表者の予期せぬ事情により、介入の実施および評価に着手することができなかった。これにより研究の進捗は大幅に遅れている状況にある。

2024年度は、これまでに検討した介入方法をもとに、速やかにプレテストを実施し、得られた結果を分析・修正したうえで、本実施につなげていく計画である。進捗の遅れを取り戻すため、スケジュールを再構築し、研究チーム内で役割分担の明確化と進捗管理体制の強化を図る。
