Outline of Research at the Start

Outline of Final Research Achievements
This study aimed to clarify effective strategies for supporting university faculty in continuously improving their teaching practices through reflection. Specifically, it empirically examined the cyclical process of generating and utilizing educational repertoires. The research involved organizing the theoretical framework of reflection and elucidating its relationship with practical knowledge. Through interviews and classroom observations with instructors of first-year education courses, the study identified how educational repertoires such as knowledge related to instructional design, course management, and student understanding are formed. Furthermore, a student-based reflection worksheet was developed and implemented to support faculty reflection, and its effectiveness was evaluated. The findings suggest that through reciprocal reflection, educational repertoires can be cyclically applied and expanded.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements
