Research Abstract |
In order to investigate the role of Fe-Ni-Cu sulfide minerals on the behavior of platinum-group elements in the Earth's mantle, we have established methods for determining high-pressure phase equilibria of sulfide phases with high pressure experiments, and for quantitative analysis of platinum-group elements with femto-second laser-ablation ICP-MS apparatus.
