Research Abstract |
Bioethanol production using duckweeds plants as raw materialaccumulating high amount of starch was investigated. Collection of useful duckweed plants, cultivation condition for growth and starch production, saccharification from duckweedbiomass were elucidated. After these basic studies, evaluation of duckweed biomassusability as raw material for ethanol production was performed indicating high potential ofthese plants.
