Research Abstract |
First, we propose an theory on practice of human resource development that integrates leadership, institutional theory, organizational development, experiential learning, organizational socialization, organizational commitment, psychological contract and career. Second, we consider research methods for practice of human resource development. Scales on creativity, organizational culture, leadership and learning are developed. Qualitative methods such as ethnography, narrative approach, discourse analysis and action research are applied. Third, we utilize our research findings for improving management practice. For example, we organize some workshops to facilitate supportive behavior in a workplace.Finally, we also utilize our findings in other fields such as marketing, regional revitalization and earthquake reconstruction.
