Research Abstract |
We present novel findings on the central fatigue-related differences in reduced HRV relating to cumulative fatigue. The present study is the first to show that nurses with reduced HRV have an imbalance of sympatho-vagal activity but do not suffer from the effects of central fatigue as assessed by a maximal effort pinch-force test.
