Research Abstract |
A new carbon-enzyme hybrid material was developed through fixation of Laccase(multicopper oxidase enzyme) into the nano-space of mesoporous carbon. As a result, Laccase gained high durability toward organic media. Electrocatlytic activity toward oxygen reduction was also demonstrated by controlling the orientation of Laccase by addition of anthracene.
