Research Abstract

Overexpression of Id2 in NHEK modulated the expression of hair follicle related genes, COL22A1, APCDD1, FGFR and KRT4. The crucial role of Wnt signaling in hair follicle development and morphogenesis has been well established. Id2 may play an important role in the regulation of hair follicle development by Wnt signaling.
