Research Abstract |
Coupled instability behavior and the plastic deformation capacity of H-shaped steel beams under the cyclic load are cleared in this study. Buckling strength of the beam is cleared by theoretical analysis. And the cyclic loading tests are carried out. From these results, plastic deformation capacities of H-shaped steel beams which are collapsed by coupled buckling are estimated. And effective buckling bracing methods and shape of members are examined. Effectiveness of floor slab was also examined, and those compression buckling design methods are proposed.
