Research Abstract |
This study is focusing on the cognitive semantic perspective of Norinaga Motoori's Japanese language research. I clarified that Haruniwa Motoori inherited the cognitive semantic perspective from Norinaga on Haruniwa's research of Japanese verbal expressions for Self-Other relationship. And I tried to revalue the result of Japanese language research in the Edo period. I put a high value on Norinaga's "Teniohahimokagami" as the key of Haruniwa's verbal theory. Norinaga's "Yuubenooikaze" was similar to "Teniohahimokagami". But the establishment date of "Yuubenooikaze" has not been decided yet. On this study I concluded that the completion of "Yuubenooikaze" was earlier than that of "Teniohahimokagami".
