Research Abstract |
Intramolecularly hydrogen-bonded state ocfertain kinds oforganic dyes in polymer matricewsas found tobe sensitive ttohe polarity of thpeolymers. Thedyes showed yellow-green and blue dual emissions fromthe species with and without intramolecular hydrogen bond, respectively. Based on these findingesm,ission colorofthe dyes in polymer thin fwialsm successfully tuned from blue to orbayngceontrolling the relative intensities of the dual emsisbsyionchanging thpeolarity ofthe polymer matrices, which offers a novel mechanism to tune emission colsoorlido-fstate organicdyes.
