Research Abstract |
This study aimed to offer a platform for nurses to perform ultrasonographic examinations as routine physical assessments by demonstrating the detection of silent aspiration by ultrasonography. We successfully visualized bolus passing into trachea near the vocal cords. Furthermore, an image processing technique improved the accuracy of ultrasonographic detection of the aspirated bolus.
