Research Abstract |
The fruits of this research are as follows. First, the Constitutional doctrine of 1920's U.S Supreme Court two decisions (Meyer and Pierce) about the limits of government power concerning public education reflected the historical process of formation of public education system in the United States in that multiple factions who had various visions of American Freedom and Democracy in the Constitution insisted on power to control school education policy, but no one get the power to dominate. Second, in spite of the New Deal Constitutional Revolution, development of the Constitutional doctrine concerning public education in the Barnette decision (1943) inherited 1920's constitutional doctrine that draw the inherent limits of government powers.
