Research Abstract |
We have developed the method to arrange porphyrins and/or phthalocyanines inside one-dimensional stacked nanoarrays in a programmable manner by means of multipoint rotaxane formation. We exhibited that the dinuclear Cu^complex of the porhyrin-phthalocyanine stacked dimer shows unique switchable spin-spin communication between two Cu^centers induced by protonation and deprotonation.
