Research Abstract |
We examined the effect of asbestos exposure on functions of CTL. Asbestos exposure showed the suppressed proliferation of CD8+ lymphocytes and the decreased cytotoxicity exerted by CD8+ T cells. Moreover, mesothelioma patients showedthe enhanced decrease in the percentage of perforin+ cells of stimulated CD8+ cells.
