Research Abstract |
The purpose of this study was to evaluate an imidazole cyclodextrin (FeIIIPIm3CD) which we have developed as an antidote for acute cyanide poisoning. Both in vitro study using murine fibroblast cell and in vivo study using mice, FeIIIPIm3CD demonstrated a significantantidotal effect against potassium cyanide, which was more effective than that of existing antidote (cobalt compounds).
