Research Abstract

Skin temperature was evaluated using thermography. Increased skin temperature was observed in either callus or rhagades on the soles in three dialysis patients with diabetes mellitus. No inflammation was noted in non-diabetic dialysis patients. Thermography might be a useful screening tool for dialysis patients with diabetic foot.
