Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In order to increase the ability of drought stress avoidance in rice, it is important to promote lateral root formation. In this study, we tried to understand the molecular mechanisms regulating its formation. Finally, we identified several genes that regulates lateral root formation. These genes were expected to contribute drought stress avoidance in rice.
