Research Abstract |
As alternative techniques to Helium-3 based detector, we have developing a new neutron converter based on a Boron nitride lined MCP. During the study period, the design of the neutron converter was optimized by the results of Geant4 simulation, the operation condition as a gaseous radiation detector was checked. A physical vapor deposition equipment for a flat plate was also prepared.
