Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In this study, we enabled constructing virtual IaaS clouds on top of existing IaaS clouds using nested virtual machines (VMs) and rapidly providing more secure IaaS clouds. To suppress the increase in costs due to virtual IaaS clouds, we have developed instantaneous VM migration for reducing costs by rapidly consolidating under-utilized VMs. In addition, we enabled independent migration of a security VM and its target VM to achieve more flexible VM replacement.
