Outline of Final Research Achievements |
I examined various thoughts since Adam Smith, considering his thought as basis for market, society, government, and economic growth. Consequently, it became clear that Smith aimed at what Henri Bergson called "open society" (society handling all human beings equally over every difference between individuals) although he assumed "closed society" (society which strong and superior persons stand in the top, and rule over weak and inferior persons). Moreover, thoughts of J. S. Mill and Amartya Sen can be interpreted as father promotions from “closed society” to “open society”.
