Outline of Final Research Achievements |
I estimated the impact of newly established interchanges of highways in Japan using difference-in-differences methods. I calculated the impacts by using Japanese land prices. I found that the land price within 10km of a newly established interchange has less decline than the prices farther away from 10km. This result was strongly suggested only in nonresidential areas.
