Outline of Final Research Achievements

In this study, we aimed to reveal roles of the cytosolic and nuclear IKKβ in decision of cell life and death in vivo. Tg-NLS-IKKβKN IKKβΔhep mice presented with severe liver injury and fibrosis progression. Administration of diethylnitrosamine (DEN) to Tg-NLS-IKKβKN IKKβΔhep mice shown lower a level of hepatocellular carcinoma than that observed in IKKβΔhep mice.
