Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Autophagy is a mechanism to maintain protein quality in cells. impaired autophagy leads to Nrf2 activation through aberrant accumulation of p62 protein. Autophagy-impaired mice develop hepatic tumors. In this study, Nrf2 activation contributes to tumor formations.
