Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The purpose of this study is to examine the features of the enterprise boom in local area and its carrier focused on the case in Fukuoka prefecture.Considerations in this study includes only corporations and the period is by 1912.What is especially important is the reliability and comprehensiveness of documents.Considering this, I built the databases for trade name,purpose,location of the head office,date of establishment,capital stock,change of trade name and purpose,registration of changes and extinction,names and addresses of the directors in Fukuoka prefecture on the basis of the local newspapers from commercial registry. That is because company shall be formed by the registration of the incorporation at the location of its head office. Number of establishment of companies from 1893 to 1912 reached 415. Part of this study has been presented in the Kyushu Branch of the Japan Socio-Economic History Society held at Kyushu Sangyo University on April 28 of 2016.
