Research Abstract |
1. Mass Spectrometry of Biomedical Highmass Substance In beam technique was introduced by Ohashi. The behaviour of Na ion in the SIMS ionization was investigated by Suzuki. Matsuo, Katakuse and Matsuda established the technique to analyze the hemoglobin variants, and determined several new structure of variants. They also measured the mass distribution in the mass spectrum of peptide. Ikekawa investigated the method of sample preparation. 2. Ion Source A liquid ion source was developed by Tsuchiya. Noda developed an electron bombardment type micro ion source. Okuyama improved ion emitters for FD ionization. 3. Ionization Mechanism Theoretical study of electron impact ionization was carried out by Yamamoto. Nakata studied the ionization mechanism of proton attachment.
