Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The International Activities Support Group has promoted international research and personnel exchanges mainly through four-country exchanges with internationally renowned research institutions that specialize in mathematical biology and medicine: Vanderbilt University (USA), St. Andrews University (UK), and the INRIA Southwest Research Center in Bordeaux (France). Collaborations have been conducted on mathematical models and simulations of biological signaling, their applications in life and medical sciences, and statistical experimental validation. Furthermore, academic exchanges were expanded to include other Asian countries such as China and Korea. We organized international academic conferences (both on-site and online), accepted international students, hired post-doctoral researchers, and facilitated short- and mid-term international assignments for young researchers.
