マルテンサイト変態の結晶学および熱力学に及ぼす超高静水圧効果

Research Abstract

本年度の研究計画として挙げた時効したTiーNiおよびFeーNiーCoーTi形状記憶合金ならびに異なる規則度を有するFeーPt合金におけるマルテンサイト変態に及ぼす静水圧効果について詳細に調べた。以下に得られた結果を示す。
(1)2種類の時効(短時間、長時間)を施したTiー5lat%Ni合金における熱弾性型マルテンサイト変態の変態点の圧力依存性を静水圧下での電気抵抗測定により調べた。その結果、時効したTiーNi合金に生成するB2【double arrow】R変態点の圧力依存性は、短、長時間時効材とも変化が認められなかったが、相次いで起こるR【double arrow】B19'変態点は短時間時効材では圧力負荷と共に上昇したが、長時間時効材では変化がなかった。
(2)オ-スエイジしたFeー31.9Niー9.8Coー4.1Ti(at%)合金におけるγ【double arrow】α'変態点は圧力負荷と共に減少した。
(3)異なる規則度を有するFeー24.0at%Pt合金(S〜0,S>0,S〜0.6,S〜0.8)における非熱弾性型マルテンサイト(S〜0,S>0)および熱弾性型マルテンサイト(S〜0.6,S〜0.8)変態の変態点の圧力依存性を調べた。その結果、S〜0.8の試料におけるγ【double arrow】α'変態点の圧力依存性は、他の規則度の場合とは異なり(圧力負荷と共に変態点が減少する)、変態点は0.25GPaの負荷までは上昇し、それ以上の負荷では減少した。
(4)得られたTiーNiおよびFeーPt(S〜0.6,S〜0.8)合金の変態点の圧力依存性に対して、前年度の研究で提唱した式を用いて熱力学的な解析を行った。その際に必要な自発体積磁歪の温度ならびに圧力依存性を静水圧下での磁化測定により求めた。解析の結果、これら合金の変態点の圧力依存性の計算値はいずれも実験値と良い一致を示し提唱した式の妥当性がさらに確かめられた。
