Research Abstract

EMBL3を用いてキイロショウジョウバエ遺伝子ライブラリ-を作した。このライブラリ-よりランダムに現在までに約400のクロ-ンをサンプリングし、DNAを抽出した。これらのクロ-ンDNAを研究分担者に配布し、in situ hybridizationによる唾腺染色体上の位置決定を行った。現在これらのクロ-ンの50%以上について位置の決定が完了した。更にクロ-ンのサンプリングとDNA抽出を継続中であり、本年中に1000クロ-ンのサンプリングを終了する予定である。また、すでに他の研究者によりクロ-ン化され、かつ細胞的位置も決定されている。遺伝子に関してはデ-タベ-ス化を進めている。実際にDNAを取得し、保存する作業は来年度行う計画である。
