Research Abstract	多様体の幾何学は微分幾何学,位相幾何学をはじめ,数学の各分野,さらに数理物理学,情報科学,工学等さまざまな分野との関連のもとに現在,活発に研究されている。我々の研究目的は多様体上の幾何学及び関連した諸問題をさまざまな角度から総合的に研究することである。主な研究プロジェクトは,(1)大域解析学,(2)リ-マン多様体の幾何学,(3)部分多様体及びテンソル幾何学(フィンスラ-幾何学を含む),(4)多様体上の諸構造に関する研究,(5)複素幾何学(概複素幾何学を含む),(6)多様体上の力学系に関する研究,である。平成3年度における主な研究活動は,第38回幾何学シンポジウム及び5回の研究集合における研究発表と研究打合せであった。得られた研究成果の主なものは以下の通りである。(1)に関しては,例えば,非何換,周期的シュレディンガ-作用素のスペクトラムと離散群との関係を明かにしている。また完備リ-マン多様体から負曲率多様への調和写像の存在及び一意性に関していくつかの結果を得ている。(2)に関しては,種々の球面定理の改良に成功している。(3)に関しては,極小曲面の変形及びモ-ス指数に関して興味のある結果が得られた。また(点毎)定正則断面曲率エルミ-ト曲面の分類及びその応用についていくつかの結果を得ている。(4)に関してはアファイン微分幾何学における諸問題について研究が進展している。(5)に関しては,さまざまな複素多様体について,アインシュタイン・ケ-ラ-計量の存在に対する2つの障害(松島障害,二木障害)に関していくつかの結果が得られている。(6)に関しては,ケプラ-問題とその対称性について,古典力学,量子力学の両側より研究していくつかの結果を得ている。ゲ-ジ理論の3,4次元多様体のトポロジ-への応用に関する研究は上記すべてのプロジェクトにわたっている。現在,境界付4次元多様体上への応用等について研究が進んでいる。
