Research Abstract	1.既存望遠鏡による観測研究の推進木曽観測所の大型シュミット音望遠鏡による観測に基づいて,銀河団が通常考えられている球対称形状から外れている証拠を二つ見出した。 (1)おとめ座貝河団は視線方向に沿って,従来の推定よりも4倍大きな奥行きをもち,細長いフィラメントとも言える構造を有する。 (2)球対称構造をもつ典型例と考えられていたかみのけ座銀河団が大規模構造に沿って細長く延びている。 2.理論的研究 (1)宇宙初期の密度ゆらぎが,成長するに従ってどのようにそのスペクトルを変えてゆくかを数値実験で示し,銀河分布の3次,4次のモーメントが初期ゆらぎについての重要な情報を含むことを示した。 (2)粒子だけでなくガスも含めて,銀河と大規模構造の形成過程を数値実験できる計算コードを開発した。 3.観測装置の開発研究咋年度開発廠た16素子のモザイクCCDカメラで観測を行い,天文観測に充分な性能を有することを確認した。 4.大量データ解析システムの研究 (1)モザイクCCDカメラによる断片的なモザイク画像を,画像全体で整合性を保ちつつ結合編集して,1枚の広視野画像に合成するアルゴリズムとソフトウェアを開発した。 (2)簡単な二つの側光パラメータによって,銀河を早期型と晩期型に分類するソフトウェアを開発した。
