| Research Abstract |
1.既存の望遠鏡等による観測研究の推進
(1)木曽観測所のシュミット望遠鏡による観測に基づき、うお-ペルセウス座領域の1900個余りの銀河の測光解析を行い、ハッブル膨張からのずれを解析し、この領域では大規模流の存在が疑わしいことを示した。
(2)天の川領域で系統的銀河探査を行い、7000個以上の銀河をカタログした。これらの銀河の一部については視線速度を決定し、そのデータから天の川をよぎる大きなフィラメント構造の存在を明らかにした。
2.理論的研究
(1)銀河団の2点相関関数が、銀河に比べて極めて強い振幅を持っているという観測事実を、バイアスモデルの立場から定量的に説明できることを数値実験によって示した。
(2)銀河の位置の分布と速度場を非球対称モデルを用いて解析し、宇宙の平均密度は球対称モデルが示唆するものよりも小さいことを明らかにした。
3.観測装置の開発研究
(1)1018×1000画素のCCD素子を8個×4列並べたモザイクCCDカメラ2号機を開発した。
(2)すばる望遠鏡観測装置のプロトタイプとして、岡山観測所91cm望遠鏡用の偏光撮像装置を完成した。
4.大量データ解析システムの研究
(1)モザイクCCD観測データを自動的に整約解析し、天体の自動測光を行うソフトウエアを完成させた。
(2)約800個の銀河の画像データ、光度分布プロファイルを合せたCD-ROMデータベースを完成した。
