Research Abstract

流体工学の中心的課題である乱流現象の研究においてコンピュ-タによる数値シミュレ-ションは重要な要素であり、その特性を十分に生かし広範囲への応用を進めるためには、これらのライブラリ-化、デ-タベ-ス化を図る必要ある。本研究ではその課題として、(1)乱流解析プログラムのライブラリ、(2)ラ-ジ・エディ・シミュレ-ション(LES)を中心とした解析結果のデ-タベ-スを構築し試験的運用を行う。また、ソフトウェア-の信頼性、汎用性向上のため、(3)解析結果の検証、(4)格子生成およびアニメ-ション表示を中心としたプリ、ポスト・プロセスに関する研究を進める。本年度はライブラリ-運用の基礎となるコンピュ-タ・ネットワ-クおよび画像表示システムを整備して、本研究者間でのコンピュ-タ相互利用、学内外ネットワ-クとの結合による他研究施設へのソフトウェア-のオンラインによる提供が可能となった。これらの設備を用いて、解析プログラム開発および検証が各研究者により進められた。その成果は学術論文などのほか、本研究グル-プの企画による講習会および研究報告書において総括して公開した。また、これまで開発された乱流解析プログラムより約30件を選定し、その情報をソフトウェア-・ライブラリとして解析手法や条件、検証計算例などの詳細情報を公表して、乱流解析における共同研究の促進を図った。大容量デ-タを活用するアニメ-ション表示システムおよびLESデ-タベ-ス構築については、平成4年度に整備される学内ネットワ-クを利用して実施する予定である。
