Research Abstract	本重点領域研究では、光合成を行う本体である葉緑体、および葉緑体を含む細胞における、損傷の修復および環境への適応の分子機構を解明することを目的としている。この研究目的を達成するため本総括班では研究班間、研究グループ間、研究者間の連絡と調整のため委員(連絡・調整委員)と、研究計画に対する助言と研究成果の評価をおこなう委員(評価委員)を置き、以下の活動をおこなった。 1.研究計画発表会(計画研究班員および公募班研究採択者全員)を5月29〜30日(基礎生物学研究所)に開催した。 2.研究成果発表会(計画研究班員および公募研究採択者全員)を1月29〜31日(基礎生物学研究所)に開催した。 3.公開シンポジウム「環境と光合成」を10月2〜3日(東京大学教養学部)に開催した。 4.総括班会議を5月30日(基礎生物学研究所)、10月2日(東京大学)、1月29日(基礎生物学研究所)、1月31日(基礎生物学研究所)に開催した。 5.研究連絡・調整会議を5月29日(基礎生物学研究所)、10月2日(東京大学)、12月25〜26日(基礎生物学研究所)に開催した。 6.計画班員および公募研究採択者全員の平成4年度の研究成果をとりまとめ、平成4年度研究成果報告書として発刊した。 7.光合成の環境応答の分子機構ニュースレター第1号を平成4年7月に発刊した。内容は研究組織および班員・班友名薄である。 8.光合成の環環応答の分子機構ニュースレター第2号を平成5年1月に発刊した。内容は、研究に関する班員間の意見交換である。
