核反応による原子核の動的性質の研究

Research Abstract

平成4年度に行なってきた各分担課題の研究を継続し、課題分担者間の研究交流をより盛んにした。原子核に現象として現れる種々の動力学性の特徴を、一般的、普遍的な性質としてとらえる努力を行なった。一方で、実験的に確かめられる事柄を整理して実験を提案した。これからの原子核の動的性質の研究についての討論・議論を進めた。世界的にみても、不安定核を用いた核反応(Radiative beam inject nuc lear reactions)は、益々要なテーマとなってきている。
核子移行反応により生成される核のスピンが、ほぼ100%偏極しているものがあることが理論的に指摘されており、実験的検証を提案した。この予見が確立されれば、これを入射核として用いた実驗を提案する。我が国では理研において既にこの種の実験が行なわれている。また、200GeV/cのスピン偏極した陽子-陽子衝突における生成ハドロン角度分布の左右非対称性が観測されているが、この結果を相対論的基礎方程式から出発して理論的に再現出来た。この反応をクォーク移行反応であるとして取り扱い、非対称性の出現する動力学を調べたところ、先の核子移行反応と同じく、移行するクォークに作用するスピン軌道力が決定的な役割を果たしていることが分かった点は興味深い。
天体核反応・宇宙物理学への貢献も行なわれた。高精度の大次元殻模型計算により、高温高密度物質中におけるベータ崩壊の遷移強度分布を系統的に調べた。これは天体核現象のシミュレションに役立つものである。
準弾性陽子-原子核散乱のスピン-アイソスピン応答関数に、デルタ-ホール配位の効果を取り入れた精度の高い計算が行なわれ、電子散乱の結果との比較が行なわれた。
