| Research Abstract |
吸入曝露における許容曝露限界値の決定方法を検討するために、まづ動物実験データから入への外挿を行う基礎としてラットにキシレンを吸入させ、toxicokinetic dataを整理し、経口投与と吸入曝露では化学物質の体内動態が大きく異なることを明らかにした。金属元素の許容濃度設定における問題として、すでに正常生体内に存在する他金属の量により、新たに曝露される元素の動態が如何に左右されるかを、水銀とセレンを例にとり明らかにした。感作性物質の許容濃度設定にはいろいろの因難があるが、第一歩として感作性の有無を定性的に判断する方法論を検討し、具体的な感作性物質リストを産業で使用される頻度の高いものについてほぼ完成した。又、人について感作か成立しつつあるか否かを判定す手段の一つとして、血清IgEレベルの測定が役立つことを明らかにし、人のライフスタイル(喫煙など)がこれをいかに修飾するかをコバルト曝露作業者について明らかにした。神経系の毒性を許容濃度決定の根拠とするための方法の一つとして、神経組織特異蛋白をマーカーとする方法を研究し、これが有用であることを示唆するデータを得た。さらにマイクロダイアリシス法を用いた中枢神経毒性の研究方法の有用性を検討し、有望な研究成果を得た。混合曝露に対する許容濃度設定の基礎として、トルエンとキシレンに曝露する作業者を調査し、これらへの比較的底農度での曝露では、それぞれの単独曝露の相加作用を考えてよいことを証明した。カドミウム作業者の生物学的モニタリングのマーカーとしては、血中、尿中カドミウム、尿中銅の測定が有用であることを確認し、さらに、経度の影響指標としては、隻中β2ミクログロブリンより隻α1ミクログロブリンの方が鋭敏であることを明確にした。
