Research Abstract	(1)伊藤によって合成されたレチナールアナログを用いて、辻本は光感覚に関係する蛋白質の一つであるレチノクロムの発色団部分の構造が6S-シス形であることを明らかにした。 (2)カロテノイドであるフコキサンチンやゼアキサンチン等を伊藤、大須賀が合成し、三室、加藤らと共同研究することによって、蛍光の緩和過程における分子構造の効果について明らかにした。 (3)クラミドモナスの眼点の光に対する驚動性について、中村は野生株と変異株を用いて460-480nmの光によって負の走光性を示すことを高橋の製作した装置を用いて明らかにした。 (4)佐藤はクラミドモナスの四娘細胞ヘの分裂に光の明期と暗期が関与しているという結果を渡辺、高橋との共同研究によって明らかにしてきた。 (5)川井は藻類の新しい光受容物質として、作用および発光スペクトルからフラビン類を提案した。この研究は中村、渡辺、三室との共同研究による。
