| Research Abstract |
呼吸系キノン分子種,菌体脂肪酸組成およびDNAのGC含量の検討より,既知種菌株18株を含む99株の海洋性グラム陰性好気性周毛桿菌は大きく3グループ(グループ【.encircled1.】【.encircled2.】【.encircled3.】)に大別された。グループ【.encircled1.】は、基準種を含むDeleya属の全種が含まれることより、Deleya属であると考えられた。Deleya属の既知種がそれぞれ遺伝的にも独立した種である事を確認し,さらに,4新種(D.japonica,D.agilis,D.turbida,D.tenuis)の存在を明らかにした。グループ【.encircled2.】は,周鞭毛と極鞭毛を同時に有する菌群であるが,極鞭毛を特徴とするAlteromonas属である事をあきらかにした。5株を既知種に同定し,4新種の存在を明らかにした(A.atlantica,A.carrageenovora,A.litoralis,A.brevis)。グループ【.encircled3.】の特徴は,Proteobacteria綱のrRNA superfamily IVの特徴と一致し,rRNAの相同性より新分類群である事があきらかとなった(Zobellia subtropicalis,Z.nishinoshimaensis,Oceanobacterium insulare)。
