Research Abstract

研究実施計画に従って、以下の三つのグループに分けて研究を行った。
1.制度の国際整合性
(1).鈴村を中心に、国際的な制度調整を行う際に必要な「自由」、「効率」、「公正」、「正義」などの評価基準から、制度調整の望ましい枠組みを検討した。特に、国際調整における各国の「自由意志の尊重」と言う側面から、具体的な調整メカニズムを検討するための分析枠組みの構築を行った。(2).藤原を中心に、政府・行政機構などの国内制度の頑健性や相対的優位性を、司法システムなど他の社会的仕組みとの補完性を基に検討し、制度の国際整合性を社会・経済システムの中で検討することを試みた。詳細な内容は、川又・塩沢・鈴村・藤原の研究発表論文を参照。
2.望ましい経済制度のあり方
(1).望ましい国際制度のあり方を検討する前提として、西村を中心に地球環境や国際精度などの世界公共財のあり方によって社会・経済システムがどのような動学的特性を示すかを、非線形動学やカオスの理論を使って検討した。(2).伊藤を中心に日米経済摩擦やWTOなど現在の国際通商問題の制度的問題点や、その望ましい解決方策を検討した。詳細な内容は、西村・川又・山崎などの研究発表論文を参照せよ。
3.地球環境問題とその対策
(1).天野・佐和・黒田などを中心に地球環境問題を検討した。佐和がリサイクル問題について包括的な検討を、天野・黒田が地球温暖化とその経済的影響の予測を行った。詳細な内容は、黒田・佐和などの研究発表論文を参照せよ。(2).藤原・西村などを中心に、人間の社会・経済活動、大気・海水・森林などの自然生態系、人類の技術・研究開発活動などが相互連関する、複雑な動学体系をコントロールするためのサスティナブルなシステムをどう設計するかという視点から、地球温暖化問題をとらえる試みを開始した。
