Research Abstract	1.高脂血症家兎の選抜育種 WHHL(Watanabe heritable hyperlipidemic)家兎の選抜育種を行った。生後2ケ月目に採血し血清コレステロール値が400mg/dl以上の家兎をWHHLホモ接合体,400mg/dl未満をヘテロ接合体と判定した。3ケ月齢ではホモ接合体の血清コレステロール値は700〜1050mg/dlを示し,ヘテロ接合体は300mg/dl以下であった。ホモ接合体のうちトリグリセリドが高い個体について選抜交配し,高トリグリセリド血症の遺伝形式を検討した。高コレステロール血症と高トリグリセリド血症を併せ持つ系を確立する目処がついた。トリグリセリドが低い素因についても系の確立を試みた。これらの純系動物について大動脈粥状硬化病変、冠動脈硬化病変、心筋壊死巣の広がりと程度について対比検討中である。すなわち、高コレステロール血症と高トリグリセリド血症のいずれが虚血性心疾患、特に心筋梗塞の発症に関与するかが明らかになるものと期待される。 2.軟X線撮影装置の導入による冠動脈局在病変の検出と分布の解析本年度の設備として軟X線撮影装置を設備した。Ba-ゼラチンやミクロフィルを冠動脈に注入することによって冠動脈の起始部から微細な血管に至るまでの冠動脈造影が可能となった。
