Research Abstract	エンドセリン(ET)の研究は現在国際的規模で進行している。また一方で世界各国の製薬企業でET拮抗薬が開発され、続々と発表されている。さらにET以外の薬物受容体、それに対するアゴニスト、拮抗薬の研究が発展している。その分類、命令法の混乱を避けるため国際薬理学会連合の委員会が存在する。これらを通じて、エンドセリンの受容体、アゴニスト拮抗薬の分類も行われ、世界のエンドセリン研究推進に役だっている。本研究計画ではこれらの組織、研究者との共同研究を通じて受容体を中心とするエンドセリン研究の推進をはかることを目的とする。これによってエンドセリン研究のわが国のリーダーシップを発揮することを目的とする。本年度はまず1994年7月モントリオールで開催された国際薬理学連合学術集会に出席討論、情報収集を行い、同時に開催された国際薬理学連合受容体命名委員会に出席した。この委員会ではまず受容体関連用語の定義について、またさらに対象とするアゴニストの範囲をひろげて、それらの受容体の一般的命名法について議論をした。さらに1995年1月フランス、パリで開催された本年度2回目の受容体命名委員会で、受容体分類に関して、リガンド結合性、信号伝達系、反応の3つの因子を考えてこれらを分類するべきであるという意見が出され、それぞれの立場から数人の代表者が発表し、討論を行った。さらに1995年1月、サンフランシスコで開催された内皮由来血管活性物質会議では情報を収集すると同時に、受容体の誘発する反応は、細胞内に発現されているG蛋白質のレベルによってまず決まることを本研究代表者が発表し、討論を行った。
