1.SUMMARY OF RESEARCH OF THIS ACADEMIC YEAR : IN THE ACADEMIC YEAR OF 1997 WE CONTINUED TO COMPARE,ANALYZE AND REVIEW OUR RESEARCH FINDINGS,WHICH WERE ACQUIRED FROM OUR FIELD SURVEYS DURING THE LAST 2 ACADEMIC YEARS OR COLLECTED BOOKS,INFORMATION AND MATERIALS,WROTE EACH OWN RESEARCH PAPERS AND PUB LISHED THE RESEARCH REPORT IN MARCH,1998. A FEW OF INVESTIGATORS TOOK CHARGE OF 2 COUNTRIES. 2.THE NEW RESEARCH FINDINGS (1) THE 5 DAY CLASSES IN A WEEK HAVE ALREADY BEEN SETTLED IN MANY COUNTRIES.ON SATURDAYS CHILDREN ENGAGE THEMSELVES IN THE EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES IN THE CULTURAL AND SPORTS AFFAIRS.THE ACTIVITIES IN YOUTH ORGANIZATIONS,WORK EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING AND VOLUNTEERING ACTIVITIES.ON SUNAY AS THE SABBATH THEY TAKE REST,ATTEND THE SERVICE AT TEMPLES AND CHURCHES AND ENJOY HAPPY HOME CIRCLES.(2) IN SOME COUNTRIES THE 4 DAY CLASSES IN A WEEK HVE BEEN IMPLEMENTED PASRTIALLY OR COMPLETELY.ON EVERY FRIDAY THE FACULTYMEMBERS INVOLVE WITH THEIR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND STUDENTS INVOLVE WITH DEEP STUDY,VOLUNTEERING ACTIVITIES OR WORK STUDY PROGRAM AND THE LENGTH OF THE SCHOOL DAY IS EXTENDED ON OTHER WEEK DAYS.(3) WE FOUND THE ACTUAL SITUATION THAT EACH COUNTRY HAS HADE EFFORTS COMPREHENSIVELY TO COMBINE THE LEARNING EXPERIENCES AND EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES BETWEEN ON AND OFF CAMPUS.(4) IN THE COOPERATIVE STUDY WORK AT WHICH SCHOOL AND BUSINESS COOPERATE WITH EACH OTHER,WE FOUND THAT THE MEANS AND PROCEDURES OF EVALUATION OF EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING HAVE BEEN DEVELOPED.(5) WE FOUND THAT EXTREMELY VARIOUS PARTNERSHIPS BETWEEN SCHOOL AND COMMUNITY HAVE DEVELOPED,SUCH AS IN THE FIELDS OF VOCATIONAL CAREER EDUCATION,SCHOOL-BASED TEACHER EDUCATION,GUIDANCE AND PREVENTION OF STUDENTS MISBEHAVIORS,ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION AND SO FORTH.
