Research Abstract

1998年のアジアモンスーン・エネルギー水循環観測研究の共通強化観測に向けて、以下のような観測基盤の整備を行うとともに予備的成果を得た。
I)一次元熱・水フラックス集中観測基地の設置と予備的観測;チャオプラヤ川流域の典型的土地被覆を乾季非灌漑水田,灌木低木林,熱帯モンスーン林の3つとして,それぞれに一次元熱・水フラックス観測基地を設置し、予備観測が行なわれた.また,これらの固定基地の観測を補うために,異なる土地利用・土地被覆を対象に可搬式熱収支観測装置による蒸発散移動観測が実施された。その結果、水田では水体貯熱量が蒸発散量に大きな効果を持つこと、乾季の乾燥した非灌漑水田地表面からもかなりの蒸発があること,森林の疎密により林内の鉛直気温分布が著しく異なることなど、熱帯特有のいくつかの重要な知見を得た。
II)ゾンデ強化観測;IOPへ向けて実施上の問題点と研究上の有効性を明らかにするために本年度も日4-8回の予備的強化観測を行なった.このように頻度の高いゾンデ観測は,東南アジア熱帯域では初めてであり,雨季と乾季での大気構造の相違、4次元同化客観的解析データへの影響など、多くの有用な知見が得られた.
III)その他の主要な事項;・Sukhothai北部のSi Samrong農業気象観測所に1997年6月末ライダーを含む高精度放射観測システムを設置し,観測開始.・日射データを増強するため,1997年5月にチャオプラヤ川流域の六つの農業気象観測所に,11月に東北タイとマレー半島部の五つの農業気象観測所にそれぞれ簡易自記日射計を設置・山岳地帯での雨量を把握するため,王立森林局(RFD)との共同研究として1997年8月にMae Chaem流域10箇所に自記雨量計を設置.
