Research Abstract	本年度はメソスコピック領域の物理現象を数値解析的に調べる立場とその現象の工学応用に関する立場から、半導体・超伝導体・プラズマ・誘電体・磁性体について調べた。これらの研究成果の要点は、以下のとおりである。 (1)量子コンピュータの基本原理である量子論理ゲートに実現性とその問題点について調べた。特に、量子コンピュータにおいて重要となるスピンエコー効果に関する量子電気力学の立場から統計力学的エントロピーとアルゴリズムのもつ情報エントロピーとの関係について研究した。 (2)バリスティックな2次元電子系に微細加工を施したときの量子細線における伝導度の量子化、ホール効果の消失および磁場による電子の集中効果現象を調べるために、境界要素法により問題の定式化を行い、その基本的数値特性について検討を行った。 (3)ステップ状の渦糸構造が生じる温度、磁場条件を明らかにするために、時間依存型ギンツブルグ・ランダウ方程式を解析し、層状超伝導体の磁束渦糸構造を調べた。また、欠陥が存在するときの層状超伝導体のメソスコピック磁束ピンニング特性を明らかにした。 (4)核融合プラズマ現象を調べるための超粒子モデルを用いて、電子2流体不安定性を並列計算機により解明し、超粒子モデルがメソスコピックプラズマに対しても有効であることが確認され、今後磁化プラズマにもこのモデルを適用する。 (5)光強度依存型屈折率の非線型光導波路において、光パルス、空間・時間ソリトン、連続光波ビームの伝播現象を統一的に扱える非線形波動方程式を構成し、有限要素法により、非線形グラッドをもつ線形コア光ファイバのモード及びビーム伝播特性を解析した。 (6)3次元薄層シールド磁性体の解析を行うために表面インピーダンス法を導入し、境界要素法と有限要素法の結合法により、精度の良いシールド係数を、種々の周波数領域とシールド形状に対して求めた。
