Research Abstract	1.X線照射によって誘発された脂肪酸組成が異なるダイズの系統を用いて遺伝子分析を行った.パルミチン酸含量は二つの対立遺伝子によって支配されていることを明らかにした。 2.タマネギとネギ野生種Allium oschniniiとの体細胞雑種個体作成に成功した.ネギ属において栽培種と野生種間で体細胞雑種を作出したのは本研究が初めてである.大量増殖能が高く,継代培養を繰り返しても遺伝的組成は安定である。 3.トレニア茎切片からの不定芽分化は傷害によって促進される.傷害を与えた茎からの浸出液中の不定芽分化促進物質を分画した結果,それらはRNAに塩基性物質が結合した高分子物質であり,そのRNAが活性を有することを明らかにし,その構造解明を進めている. 4.ヒマワリを無菌発芽させ,そのシュートのAgrobacterium rhizogenes MAFF01724を感染させ,毛状根を得た.毛状根中の二次代謝物を高速液体クロマトグラフィーで分析した結果,重金属耐性に関連していると思われるフェノール化合物の生産が認められた. 5.水耕栽培のトマトとイチゴを用い,夜間の湿度ストレスが栄養成長と養分吸収に及ぼす影響を調査した.トマトでは夜間の高湿度は成長を促進したが,イチゴでは影響なかった.夜間の高湿度条件下では,トマトはN,P,K,Ca及びMgの吸収の阻害が見られ、特にCaの吸収は少なかった.一方,イチゴではなんら影響は見られなかった. 6.ミカン亜科植物21属48種の挿し木発根能力に関して研究を行った.インドール酢酸とナフタレン酢酸処理は発根促進に効果的であった.発根能力は種による違い,体内成長調節物質の季節的周期などに影響されているようである.自根苗はカンキツ類の台木として利用を検討する.
