| Research Abstract |
平成8年6月札幌において分担者会議を開催し,8年度の研究集会のスケジュールを決定した。平成8年12月に日本大学の協力を得て全国規模の研究集会「微分方程式の総合的研究」を開催し,200名を超す参加者があった.また,主として分担者が主催する小規模集会が全国10ヵ所で開かれた.例をあげると第21回偏微分方程式札幌シンポジューム(北海道大学),非線型偏微分方程式研究会(東京都立大学),反応拡散方程式学の研究集会(東北大学),夏の偏微分方程式シンポジューム(赤穂いこいの家),第14回九州における偏微分方程式研究会(九州大学)等,これらの研究集会及び前年度の研究集会を通して,微分方程式の次の分野において多くの著しい研究成果を得た.(詳しくは研究成果報告書(冊子)を参照していただきたい).(1)常微分方程式の定性的理論(2)偏微分方程式の局所理論(3)積分作用素と楕円型方程式(4)放物型方程式の幾何学的理論(5)発展方程式の大域的理論(6)数理物理学における非線型方程式論.
