Research Abstract	1.環境,生体,新素材・高純度材料を主要な分析対象とし,これら試料に含まれる微量〜超微量の元素・分子の化学的存在形態(スピーシエイション),存在状態をも含めた高度な分析的情報(キャラクタリゼーション)を得る新しい方法論を確立した. 2.前述の3種の分析対象を念頭におき,次の4分野の基礎研究と分離・分析化学的な視点からの応用的基礎研究を進めた. (a)分子認識機能に優れた新しい分離,分析試薬の合成・開発と分析化学的研究(中村博,松井,本水) ; (b)新しい分析化学的溶液反応の創製と反応の機構解明及び分析化学的研究(河嶌,舟橋,熊丸) : (c)高選択的・高倍率濃縮分離法の開発と分析化学的研究(赤岩,小熊,中村洋,渡会) ; (d)新規高感度測定装置・方法の開発と分析化学的研究(松本,柘植,藤原,吉村). 3.(a)〜(d)に関する成果を分担研究者相互間で緊密にフィードバックしあい,開発した分離・分析法のより一層の高度化,高性能化を行った。更にそれらを統合化し,超微量元素・分子の存在形態・状態の識別に関する新しい分析化学的方法論として確立することができた. 4.途中段階における研究の成果,問題点の総合的討議を平成8年9月に行い,一層の高度化・高性能化に資すると共に,開発した分析手法の系統化,体系化をより一層進めた.更に,11月に公開シンポジウムを開き,広く成果を公表すると共に,研究組織外との交流を図かり,これまでの研究における方法論の問題点の点検と評価を行い,一層の高度化と高性能化に向けて研究を進め,体系化のためのまとめを行った.
