Research Abstract

The first sign of the disease was seen at age of 6 to 10 days according to electron microscopically, histochemical and immunohistological observations. Several specific characters were observed. 1) Immature type of lamine was observed at adult ICGN mouse. 2) Charge barrier of glomerular basement membrane showed abnormal character. 3) Lectine especially BSL-1 and s-WAG showed specific patterns when histochemical method was applied.
To improve their reptoductive ability, ovary transplantation method was applied. Ovaries from ICGN mice were transplanted in bursa of normal mice. When recipient mice were mated with ICGNmales, pregnancy were induced and delivered several ICGN pups.
