Research Abstract

本研究の目的は、ユーラシアの要衝の地、中央アジアの基礎データを整え、明るい未来を構築する理論解析を行なうことである。そのため平成9年度は、以下の研究を実施した。
1 中央アジア固有の水収支機構解明のための基礎データを収集整理した。その中心は1950年代からの水文データのデータベース化である。水文データは各共和国水理気象局が1955年から発行したものが各共和国科学アカデミーで保存されていたが、手書きの部分が多かった。本年度はシルダリア流域のデータを入手し、信頼性を担保したデータベース化試みた。また中央アジア固有の水収支機構解明のため、1936年〜1984年の旧ソ連223地点での気象観測データを用い、シルダリア流域で環境データベースの管理システムを作成し、パーソナル計算機上に移植した。
2 次に、カスピ海東北岸部での石油天然ガス開発に与える環境汚染の影響を地球化学的視点から評価した。カスピ海沿岸での環境試料は、カザフスタン科学技術省、科学アカデミー・アティラウ支部、アティラウ州政府の協力を得て行った。アズギ-ル地下核実験上周辺の環境放射線分析と共に、アラル海流域を含めた地球化学的質量分析を高周波プラズマ質量分析装置(ICP-MS)を用いて行い、ウラン精練や淡水化用高速増殖炉、石油ガス開発の経済分析の基礎資料を得ている。これにより従来行ってきた環境資料分析の精度を飛躍的に高め、かつ試料採取を容易にする効果があった。
3 最後に、経済開発と自然環境との調和のための理論的解明をおこなった。そのため、ソ連の解体を経済の進化過程の1つとみなして拮抗型数学モデルを構築した。また、環境問題と砂漠化が進む中央アジアでの市場経済移行過程での経済発展の道筋を提示しようとした。
