| Research Abstract |
1. 9年度に新規購入したワークステーションに、現在九大大型計算機センターから公開している種情報の昆虫学データベース(KONCHU)を移築させ、データベース検索システムSIGMAを用い、INTERNETを通じて、国外研究者、国内一般研究者、昆虫愛好家に一般公開した。ファイルは、日本昆虫学会誌、九大農学部昆虫学論文集エサキアほか10ファイルである。
2. 九大昆虫学教室所蔵のタイプ標本(旧シリーズ、新シリーズ)について、現有の実体顕微鏡、生物顕微鏡等から画像のディスクへの取り込みを継続し、あわせて文字情報を入力し、画像データベース化を継続した。
3. 研究代表者、分担者の専門とするハナバチ、アリ等の昆虫群について、上記と同様に、実体顕微鏡、生物顕微鏡等から画像のディスクへの取り込みを行った。あわせて文字情報を入力し、画像データベース化を継続した。
4. 平成9年度に九大昆虫学教室に寄贈されたコウチュウ目タイプ標本のデータベース化を完了し、リストを印刷公表した。
5. 研究代表者、各分担者の専門とする東アジア産の各昆虫群について、分類学的研究を実施し、結果を日本昆虫学会誌、九大農学部昆虫学論文集エサキア等に印刷発表した。
